Description The New Zealand National Contact Point is the responsibility of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

It is assisted by an advisory Liaison Group including representatives from relevant government departments as well as the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, Business New Zealand, Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union (EPMU), and the New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development. The Liaison Group aims to meet twice a year.

Procedures The New Zealand NCP requires the following information when filing a case:

the name and contact details of the multi-national business
your name and contact details
about the activity you would like to complain about
where and when the activity happened
which parts of the guidelines were not followed
how the action affected you
what resolution you would like to see
which information can be disclosed to the multi-national business and which information, if any, is confidential
any supporting documents or relevant information.

We will consider all information provided by both parties.
